Learning new stuff with Letty

Letty and I went to Batangas months ago and I really can't forget how much fun we had there. We went to Lago with his friends because they wanted to go wakeboarding. I really didn't want to because I was so scared to fall face first into the water just like all the newbies at CWC.

Letty kept on insisting that I should try it so eventually, I gave in and tried it. I was really surprised because of all the people who lined up to learn, I was the one who got farthest the first time! Letty wasn't able to beat me and that's a MAJOR FIRST!

We went to Eastwood to play bowling waaaaaay back before we got together. I've been playing bowling with friends at Alabang but he beat me like it's the easiest thing to do despite playing it for the first time. I've been such a sore loser ever since. But I really find it cute that he learned something from me. This time however, I learned something because of him. If he didn't keep pestering me about wakeboarding, I'd never know how easy it is and how I can beat him at it. ^_^

Letty inspires me to learn new things. :)

Letty and Kaye's infinite movie playlist

The Other Guys 2010

Inception 2010

The Priest

Last night, Letty and I watched The Priest. The story was pretty interesting, it was about a war against humans and vampires. The humans had the priests protecting them against the vampires and before you assume the kind of priests you see everyday, they're actually that plus superhuman fighting skills who vowed to save humanity from the vampires.

Can't wait for the next movie date. =)

Spiral: It's the world on my plate!

Last night, Letty and I went to Spiral. It's like the world buffet in one restaurant!

There was an area for raw food and Japanese cuisine, an area dedicated for choice ham and salami and different kinds of cheese, an area to make your own pasta (I didn't try this because I wanted to try everything in one go!), even an area just for marshmallow and different candy!

I was so full, I couldn't get ice cream afterwards!

But I have a top ten list of what to eat if we go there again:

1. I'll make my own pasta
2. I'll make my own sukiyaki
3. I'll give ample time for each type of dish to be appreciated. One day per cuisine (Itallian,Thai, Japanese)
4. I will not shove the sushi down my throat right away because I'd feel full after 10 minutes.
5. Stay away from the chocolate fountain
6. Have the cookies for dessert.
7. Try all the cheese
8. Focus on Thai food!
9. Hoard more sausage!
10. Leave space for ice cream! :)

Belated Happy Birthday, Happy 6th and 7th month my dear Letty! :)

Today is one of the happiest days ever!!! =)

sh*t

I'm not going to lie.
I really really dislike how he never admits that he's wrong and if he would, there's always a catch and I should be watching my back for what issue he's going to raise to make sure that I'm on the losing end.

I don't want to talk to him right now because his stubbornness isn't solving anything. I'd rather let him do the talking this time instead of attempting to make peace with him and aggravating the situation further. :(

I'm sorry, Letty.

image from vyanks.blogspot.com
We had plans this weekend.

He knows how difficult it is for me to file leaves when I know there's a lot for me to do at work.

Finally, I gathered the courage to and we made plans. We were supposed to eat at Spiral which is only the best buffet in the city! We've been planning this weekend for weeks. I was even planning to go to Sofitel wearing a beautiful prom dress and he'd be my date and we'd be wearing the same flower on our corsage.

We were having dinner on  a Wednesday night. He fetched me from the office and while I was devouring the sumptuous chocolate cake he bought for me, my phone rang. It was my cousin from Naga asking me my mom's contact number. He didn't say why he's looking for mom and why it felt urgent, I just said I'll call my mom and tell her to call him back.

Letty asked me what it was all about. I shrugged it off thinking it's about this business that they're both managing. Little did I know that I was to find out about death in the family and how it'd greatly affect the weekend we've planned for weeks.

It's ironic how when I finally decide to take the time off to be with him, a circumstance of such gravity would just rob me of the opportunity to give him the quality time he really deserves.

Last night, I cried about my grandfather's death over the phone with him. He asked me to be strong because that's what he's doing, it's only right for me to do the same.

I feel so sorry that I can't be there whenever he needs me.

I'm so sorry, Letty. I regret that I can't immediately repay your selflessness in this relationship.

Happy Birthday Letty!!!

Today is Letty's birthday.

As of last night, I've been panicking because I absolutely had no idea what to give him for his birthday. In the process, I started laying egg cells so I rushed to a nearby convenience store to buy myself some uhh "wings".

Just when I was about to pay for it at the counter, LO AND BEHOLD... Ritter Sport White Whole Hazelnuts! Letty's favorite chocolate.

When I bought one from my Cebu trip and gave it to him as pasalubong, he just brought it along with him but never ate it until his siblings threatened to eat it  if he still refuses to.

He's that sentimental about the things I give him. My Cebu trip was just a little more than a month ago, now I bought him one from the store.

I wrote him a note that says:

I am like this Ritter sport. This may be your favorite right now, but if this is what you get all the time, eventually, you'll grow tired of it. I hope you never grow tired of me because I really intend to stay.

I know it's cheesy, but it's one of those moments when I know I mean it for real so I just have to say it no matter how stupid it sounds.

I love you, Letty. Dinner at Yakimix is the best dinner everrrr!

New Look!

I'm loving the new look of my blog.

Guess what! We're planning to go out of town along with his friends. This is absolutely exciting.
I haven't been with him to a really far place. It's often said that travelling is one of the best ways to tell if you're meant for each other because it helps you find out if you two have compatible ways of coping as a couple.

I think it's pretty basic. It's all about Teamwork. :)

Letty and I had a slight disagreement earlier, but we're okay now.

Basically, it has something to do with us being too busy with our lives that we fail to appreciate the simplest things and recognize each other's favorite stuff.

Letty likes Lil Wayne. He always makes me watch his videos and listen to his songs, just like how he converted me into a Nicki Minaj fan after listening to Monster freestyle rap.

Here's his latest favorite song from Lil Wayne.

Highcut Keds

My highcut Chuck Taylors gave up on me so I have no choice but to find new slave shoes.
The kind that will stay solid while I traverse way up North to the dirrty South, ride jeepneys, carry heavy baggage -- the kind that will survive anything thrown at me in one day.

Unfortunately, it's almost June and my brothers need some help with college expenses so I had to push back this shopping expense for 2-3 weeks.

My Letty hates it when I can't buy stuff for myself so he decided to take me to a nearby store and get a pair of highcut Keds. :)

Thank you Letty. <3

My Letty Saved My Life Today

I was about to cross the street earlier this evening. It was raining so hard, I was drenched. Walking with Letty, we were both in a hurry to take the first ride home. There was a puddle of water that I tried to skip to so my velvet shoes won't get wet inside.

Out of nowhere, a motorcycle was fast approaching that it almost hit me if Letty didn't pull me back.
In the process, I stepped on the puddle of water and my poor velvet flats were drenched. I wanted to cry. I was so mad at Letty for getting my shoes wet.

I told him, I did it because I didn't want my shoes to get wet.

He snapped back, a little furious because I wasn't alert enough to keep myself safe, "What would you need your shoes for if you got hit by that motorcycle?"

Well, that definitely shut me up.

Letty Boy Blue with the sad eyes

Sometimes, I think this is how I see Letty Boy Blue.

My Letty with the sad eyes.

not jealous

I got jealous because it was MY thing but he was doing better than me.

On second thought, I'm actually happy that we have something we both enjoy. :)

We like clothes, we like fashionable stuff. It's refreshing to be with someone who actually has an exquisite eye for clothes. At least when I make an effort to dress up, he's quick to notice and is very generous in giving compliments. I like it. <3

I wish he'd be my stylist furreverr.

jealous.

Letty boy blue was bored yesterday so he kept calling what I'm up to and I told him that I'm really addicted to this website called Looklet.com where you could dress up models and decide what background and how to make it look really styled.

I was surprised that he tried it out too. I've had an account in Looklet for the past 3 years. He just made his and he's already had  8 followers.

Yes, he's that good at styling. Makes me think I'm such a losyang. :(

Argh.

Tegan and Sara

Letty likes Deftones. In fact, he's so in love with Deftones, he watched the concert and it took him at least 2 weeks to get over Chino Moreno and how guapo his singing voice is.

He's currently crushing on Tegan and Sara's music. I agree, it's really easy on the ears unlike Deftones where the only song I enjoy is Sextape because it's slow and Chino's not screaming.
Anyway, here's Tegan and Sara with their song Back in Your Head. =)

Garnier Eye Roll On or L'Oreal Eye Roller?

Last week, I gave Letty Boy Blue a DVD of iPhone games lying on my office desk and my Garnier Eye Roll-on.

I recall that he's been very conscious about his eyebags then I saw L'Oreal for men. They also sold the same kind of eye roll-on that helps remove the eye puffiness. I read the labels to check what L'Oreal has that Garnier doesn't have because the price difference was pretty HUGE. I noticed that both have caffeine in it and pretty much it's composed of the same elements that reduce dark eye circles.

I bought Garnier for 200 bucks, unfortunately, all it gave me was an eye twitch, probably due to the caffeine content of the eye roll-on. Wait. I'm not even sure if it's caused by the product, it's just that I didn't see any remarkable result so I stopped using it.

He told me he's been using it, but I'll have to ask him to use it for 2 weeks to see if there's any remarkable change. =)

That's my letty. A real product junkie.

Why Letty Boy Blue Likes Using Girly Products

I've always been curious why Letty Boy Blue would rather use girly items compared to their male counterparts. I was really surprised about the insight he gave.
Apparently, he feels that since girls use these products, it's because they actually work. All of a sudden it made sense why my very very vain brother would rather use my stuff than use what my mom buys for the boys.

I wasn't exactly a huge product junkie until I started working for advertising agencies so I find it a little strange that Letty Boy Blue actually has strong brand preferences and a certain degree of brand loyalty that I haven't really developed.

He told me that of all the products that he uses everyday, the only product he uses that are made for men is his shampoo -- CLEAR for men. He even started chatting about how he used to like Johnsons No More Tears Baby Shampoo because it smells so good. Unfortunately, it doesn't make his hair soft so I told him that he should try using conditioner (O dba? Parang si mudra lang ang kausap! Chos!).

Letty Boy Blue's Secret

On our way home, Letty Boy Blue was so excited to ride the bus with me for the first time. We just came from Cash and Carry to buy some reasonably priced Fat Burner. I was looking at some Bath and Beauty Works cologne bottles when he told me, he uses Victoria's Secret. No wonder he always smells like a girl. ^_^

Green Rose

He just hung up on me because he said he's gonna watch Green Rose, the Filipino remake of a popular Korean soap. LOL!!!!

Whitening soap

I recall him telling me that he changed his soap to Block and White but he's allergic to it.
What's with him and whitening soaps?

Three types of soap

Letty Boy Blue just told me that he has 3 different types of soap.
A papaya soap, a soap that smells good and salt scrub -- the kind we, girls buy from Watsons.

I almost ROFLed because I was LMAO!

Letty Boy Blue

This is a story of a boy I fell in love with.

This is a blog about all of his quirks, some I find odd, some I find funny and some make me really angry but at the end of the day, it's all part of his charm. =)

Sometimes, I find it so odd that he's straight. He's too particular about the clothes he wears, it takes him hours to get dressed and he knows the meaning of SMIZE--that's when you smile but only through the eyes. Originally one of Tyra's many "pauso" on America's next top model.
Oh wait, have I mentioned that one of his favorite TV shows is ANTM?

Kaloka! hahahahah!
